Welcome to your journey of practicing mindfulness through creativity!
Let me introduce myself.
My name is Mazarine.
I am a Canadian neo-impressionist artist of Indian-Iranian ancestry, born in Mumbai (India) to an eccentric and fun-loving family. After graduating with a commercial art degree from Sophia College, I started my career as an art director in advertising. It took me a few years to realize that my passion was in creating art rather than exploiting it, so I quit and started painting for a living.
I work out of The Art Brewery, my studio, where I brew my ideas and projects like this book. I love what I do, so success followed. My work has been exhibited in over 40 solo and group exhibitions in over 15 countries and proudly hangs in homes and offices worldwide.
Critics have labelled my work “Mysteries in Color” because it is not apparent; you must connect the dots to decipher the subject. You can see find my paintings at www.mazarinememon.com
The Mysteries In Colour ™ art workbook is like no other. It has no lines or patterns to colour within. Instead, it uses inkblots and Pareidolia (per-ˌī-ˈdō-lē-ə), a psychological phenomenon, to fully engage your imagination. The scientific explanation of Pareidolia is the human ability to see shapes or make pictures out of randomness. Think of the Rorschach inkblot test.
Solving the mysteries on each page of this book should tune out distractions, fire up your imagination and unshackle your creativity.
Mysteries In Colour ™ has also become a social and corporate workshop series. The workshops foster creativity, collaboration and mindfulness.
Since you are here, I hope you buy the book. More importantly, I hope it helps you practice mindfulness through creativity.
Artist and mindfulness practitioner.
